With training resuming and many players not having done contact in months, remember to ensure you are contact ready ππ»

Build up your contact base before rushing back into body on body training β

Get used to falling on the ground again.
Then proceed with low intensity tackle technique sessions. These can be using tackle bags or shields. Then introduce tackle shield work in which the intensity can be increased from session to session. Finally, body on body training can be implemented once players have sufficiently built up their contact base.
