Our trooper was the only one of us to make the trip to Chamonix this year. Keen to improve on a very solid 46th place at TDS 2019, Guillaume strictly followed the training plan meticulously devised by our coach , focusing on speed and spending countless hours on the treadmill while his teammates were enjoying the trails (and 🍻). All the hard work and sacrifices made for a pretty emotional start, but when the gun went off, surrounded by the world elites of the sport, it was all about business! However, climbing the first 7km of the course in just 49mins, a whopping 15mins faster than in 2019, proved to be overly agressive, and with worsening weather conditions, made for a pretty rough first part of the race. By Bourg Saint-Maurice (km50), Guillaume was still outside of the top100 and barely ahead of his 2019 split. However, with the support of his brother on the course, things got better and he was moving back up the field, steadily at first, but that’s when the sun rose that he really put the hammer down, crushing the last 60k to an incredible 33rd place, finishing under 24hrs and knocking a full hour off his 2019 time!!! What an epic run , you gave us the chills following online from HK!! We are all so proud of you!! 🥰

The path towards some normality seems to get shorter week after week.
Not only the steamy Hong Kong summer is here to prove it, but a trail running race was happening last Saturday, like in the good old times, organised by ☺️
It led to an epic battle between our fierce and the famous .
It was fast, hard and brutal, 21k race with 500m of elevation! While Paul managed to keep the lead on the first part which was mostly technical trails, he has to let Jeff go on the concrete section and enjoy his well deserved first runner-up ranking! Hats off !
On the 12k, our soon-to-be trail superstars and finished respectively 3rd and 1st of their respective category, super well done ladies !!

We can't wait for the next one, and very grateful for to offer these opportunities to run, suffer, laugh and have great time among the Hong Kong trail running community!

Also, special thanks for the moral support from .bottin, and who just woke up at 4am for cheering up our runners - that's what we call a true team spirit !

Alone you (may) go fast, together you go far!
This illustrated perfectly what makes us a team ! Teammates taking turns to pull eachother, support fighting stray dogs, hiking or running miles to deliver A-class CPs, and a global desire to do the best for the other: all-in-all, the delivered the fastest time of this edition.
The start at 4pm was audacious, the struggle with the heat was real, and the outcome was very fun - we gave our all !
We can't wait to defend our title in a real edition, and honoured to take part of this race from supporting the

Inspiring, Motivating and supporting each other. It is the credo of the growing community of ! The least we can say, it has been perfectly illustrated during the Challenge which gathered more than 50 teams !
Not only our members got involved but they had their fair share of sweat and strong runs all over these 9 days!

Big Kudos to the organisers for making it happened, especially when it is to benefit to nice programs such as - they advocate to empower women through Sport in conflict region!

For the little story, the Ultra Lovers ( and ) won the set, when Boom Shaka Lala ( and@bgc85) missed the podium by few minutes only in the set!
