Launched in 1997, the World Rope Skipping Championships is an international event held biyearly that welcomes thousands of skippers at all levels from more than 20 countries all over the world. The W

orld Rope Skipping Championships 2014 (WRSC 2014) will be held in Hong Kong in summer 2014. With the aims to promote rope skipping as a benefi¬cial fitness activity as well as to engage and excite the interest of young people in skipping, we strive to host a spectacular event for skippers, coaches, judges and also the public.

由1997年起，世界跳繩錦標賽每兩年舉行一次。今年， 2014世界跳繩錦標賽將在2014年夏天於香港舉行，有近二十多個國家的精英和超過一千個世界級跳繩選手參賽。為了推動跳繩這一項有益身心的運動，從而激發年輕人對跳繩的興趣，我們竭力為跳繩運動員、教練、裁判員、以及公眾提供一項世界級盛事，萬勿錯過。

We may have reached the end of WRSC 2014, but rope skipping will continue living and shining all around the world. May I wish all competitors, coaches and judges a safe journey home. It was a pleasure meeting you all, hope you have enjoyed your stay in Hong Kong and will always remember all the great moments that you embedded in the heart of our city this past week!
