On Wednesday's Backchat, we'll first speak with a think tank and a representative from the industrial sector as the government launches a public consultation on the First Five-Year Plan for Economic and Social Development of the HKSAR. How will the plan set the scene for Hong Kong's further development?

After the break, we'll look into suggestions to boost Hong Kong's "ticket stub economy", a growing consumer trend where physical or digital ticket stubs from transportation, cultural, and sports events are used to unlock secondary spending. Lawmakers say there's a need to maximise the
economic benefits of Kpop legends BIGBANG and BTS, which will hold massive concerts at Kai Tak Stadium.

And finally, a local historian will tell us about the cultural and historical significance of Hung Shing Temple in Wan Chai and Stanley Mosque, after the Antiquities Advisory Board backed a government proposal to list them as statutory monuments.

As always, we'd love to hear your thoughts. You can call us at 2338-8266, WhatsApp 6899-8518 email [email protected] or comment on our page "Backchat on RTHK Radio 3".

On Tuesday's Backchat, we'll look into a ballot held last week that decides which restaurants will be able to allow dogs to enter their premises. A total of 2,205 applications were received earlier for a quota of not more than 1,000 restaurants.

Then, a lawmaker will tell us more about a survey that studied what primary and secondary school teachers need to teach their students about AI, and what challenges they face.

After the break, we'll speak with another lawmaker on how setting up self-service donation kiosks around the West Kowloon Cultural District is going to support its operation.

And to wrap up the show, we'll hear from our US correspondent on a protest in Albania against a plan by a company linked to US President Donald Trump's son-in-law to build a luxury resort in an environmentally-sensitive area.

As always, we'd love to hear your thoughts. You can call us at 2338-8266, WhatsApp 6899-8518 email [email protected] or comment on our page "Backchat on RTHK Radio 3".
