In the photography term, all macro wet lenses are fixed focal length lenses; typically +15~+18 range are ideal for small creatures like nudibranchs, or specific parts of an fish, such as the eye. However the most difficult part would be how to reach the proper focus distance of 5~10 centimeters without spooking the target.
This is a rather unsuccessful attempt to capture the cuttlefish using the +15 macro lens.
It’s challenging, but it’s fun!
