The Youth Development Team (YDT) competed at the Junior Golden Nugget 2026 with outstanding performances! / 青少年發展隊（YDT） 再次完成澳洲 Junior Golden Nugget！

YDT players off to challenge Junior Golden Nugget in Australia / 青少年球員再戰澳洲 Junior Golden Nugget 大賽

Players from the Youth Development Team (YDT) will once again compete at the Junior Golden Nugget, held at Club Tweed from July 25–26, 2026.

The event is widely regarded as one of Australia’s most prestigious junior bowls tournaments, and will feature 48 rising stars — 24 boys and 24 girls — from across Australia, New Zealand, and Hong Kong.

Hong Kong’s breakthrough came in 2025 when Bianca Szeto captured the Girls’ title, becoming the first champion from outside Oceania. Building on that success, YDT returns with four promising talents:

- Girls: Grenda Leung, Vincy Jung
- Boys: Arnold Leung, Legolas Ng

The format includes sectional play on Saturday, followed by quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals on Sunday. With Hong Kong’s growing presence, spectators can expect world-class performances and another chance for history to be made.

來自青少年發展隊的年青球員將於 2026 年 7 月 25 至 26 日出戰被譽為澳洲最具聲望的青少年草地滾球賽事之一的 Junior Golden Nugget大賽。

自 2024 年首次獲邀參賽以來，本港球員已經在賽事中留下深刻印記，其中司徒善兒在 2025 年勇奪女子組冠軍，成為首位非大洋洲地區的冠軍，創下歷史。

今年青少年發展隊將派出四位新星出戰：
• 女子組：梁樂桐、張曉思
• 男子組：梁宏諾、吳釨昡

他們將與來自澳洲及新西蘭的 24位男子及24位女子頂尖球員同場競技，展開為期兩天的激烈角逐。比賽採用分組循環及淘汰制，最終冠軍將在星期日決出。

HKC won five medals at Lion City Cup / 港隊獅城盃奪五獎牌

The Hong Kong China lawn bowls team won three silver and two bronze medals at the Lion City Cup 2026, which completed yesterday (July 4).

The event, which was played in three wood pairs format, was participated by 11 countries and regions.

Gary Kwan and Alex Lee won silver in the Men's Pairs (ends format) and the U25 Men's Pairs (sets format). Gloria Ha and Gillian Ng also won silver in the U25 Women's Pairs in set format. The team also won bronze in the Women's Pairs in set format, as well as the Men's Pairs in ends format.

中國香港草地滾球隊在昨天（7 月 4 日）結束的 2026 獅城盃中取得五面獎牌。

由關峻軒及李泓浚組成的雙人隊在男子雙人局數賽及 U25 男子雙人盤數賽均取得銀牌，而夏日婷及吳霈鈿亦在U25 女子盤數賽贏得銀牌。其他隊友則在男子局數賽及女子盤數賽取得銅牌。

今年的獅城盃共有來自 11 個國家及地區的代表隊參戰，以雙人三球方式進行。

Reunification Cup 2026 / 回歸盃 2026
48 teams participated in the Reunification Cup to celebrate the 29th anniversary of the establishment of the HKSAR today, July 1.

Club de Recreio defeated Kowloon Cricket Club to win the Cup competition. Hong Kong Police Lawn Bowls Club won the Plate Competition, while Tai Po Lawn Bowling Club won the Bowl competition.

來自全港各屬會的 48 枝草地滾球隊今日（ 7 月 1 日）參與了慶祝香港特別行政區成立二十九周年的回歸盃賽事。

最終西洋波會在盃賽決賽擊敗九龍木球會，勇奪冠軍。碟賽由警察草地滾球會取得冠軍，而碗賽冠軍則由大埔草地滾球會奪得。

Reunification Cup 2026 / 回歸盃 2026
48 teams from member clubs will participate in the Reunification Cup to celebrate the 29th anniversary of the establishment of the HKSAR tomorrow, July 1, at five venues throughout Kowloon.

The finals will be held at Kowloon Bowling Green on July 1.
