The Centre for Sports and Exercise (CSE) from The University of Hong Kong offers non-academic sport and recreation programmes, health and fitness and competitive sport programmes. Competitive sports opportunities are provided through the inter-hall and inter-faculty competitions and through the activities of twenty-four sports clubs and University teams that are organised by the Sports Association

of the Student's Union. University teams compete in events organized by the University Sports Federation of Hong Kong, China and in other inter-varsity competitions. The University's Sports Scholarship Scheme allows talented local athletes to pursue studies while training and competing for the University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong National teams.

🤍We are heartbroken by the devastating fire at Wang F*k Court in Tai Po. The Centre for Sports and Exercise extends our deepest condolences to those who have lost loved ones, and our thoughts are with the injured, affected families, and the Tai Po community. We are grateful to the firefighters, medical teams, police, and all frontline personnel for their tireless efforts.

To our members and the wider HKU community: please take care of your wellbeing and look out for one another. If you need support, please reach out to our institution’s counselling and student/staff support services, and follow official government and Red Cross channels for assistance and verified ways to help.
