Began four years ago in order to promote physical and recreational activity in children and youth in Urban and Rural areas of Guatemala, and also support the academic development. Thus contribute to the formation of children and youth living high-risk areas and rural communities where the children and youth are living in difficult situations such as drug problems, violence, prostitution, youth gan

gs Integration and other problems that prevent the young develop in a society where the youth marginalized and have the opportunities to express and function through sport. All young people who are practicing Lacrosse have their own organization that promotes sport and recreation in Guatemala. All young people who are in the project are poor. We hope that in the year 2011 we will have more people, schools, colleges and companies that we can continue to support the work to the change the life of many children and young people from Guatemala living in difficult conditions and without opportunities for development. We are young, we seek the solution to our problems through sport and recreation and so people can be multiple changes to our country, thank you for believing in us in overcoming the young. It is not easy for us to excel in a country where violence prevails and where young people spend their daily time on bad things, but the organization MANOSAMIGAS is working to polled young people, which can change through sport in different communities in Guatemala, however we are aware that there is a lot of work to do and this will be possible only through the efforts of everyone. The organization currently helping hands, needs the support in the recudacion of funds to continue the lacrosse program that benefits more than 500 young people living in poverty in Guatemala. We invite you to make this November 1st you can support us to continue this Agenda of lacrosse in Guatemala, or can provide contacts that help us to raise funds. El pasado sábado 22 de octubre todos los Jugadores del equipo de "Guatemala Lacrosse" estuvieron entrenando en el campo de San Juaneros ubicado en Ciudad Quetzal. Durante el entreno tuvimos nuestro invitado de lujo Frank Spencer Coach y Jugador de Lacrosse, en U.S.A.

Aspectos técnicos de pase, tiro y levantamiento de pelota
Juego dé entreno donde Frank junto a todos los participantes estuvo completamente inmerso junto a los jóvenes apoyando, dirigiendo al equipo, animando y enriqueciendo mas en conocimientos sobre este bello deporte.
Como parte final todos estuvieron en un espacio de convivencia platicando sobre como estuvo el entreno, intercambiando conocimientos.
Gracias a todos y en especial a Frank por todo el soporte que haz dado durante este tiempo a "Asociación Manos Amigas", Guatemala Lacrosse es tu casa y esperamos mas intercambios deportivos y recreativos.

On Saturday 22 October all team players "Guatemala Lacrosse" were training in the field of San Juaneros located in Ciudad Quetzal. During the training we had our special guest Frank Spencer Lacrosse Coach and player in U.S.A.

Training game where Frank with all participants was completely immersed with the young supporting, directing the team, encouraging and enriching more knowledge about this beautiful sport.
As the final part everyone was in a living space it was like talking about training, sharing knowledge.
Thanks to everyone and especially to Frank for all the support and donation implements you've given during this time to "Manos Amigas Association" Guatemala Lacrosse is your home and we hope more sporting and recreational exchanges. .
