🎉 New Women’s Static Apnea World Record

Just one week ago, Heike Schwerdtner (GER) amazed the freediving world with a 09:17 breath-hold - a full 10 seconds longer than her own world record from the last AIDA Pool World Championship. But since the event wasn’t WR status, the result remained unofficial.

Today, at the "Stockholm Apnea AIDA STA Wars - CO₂ Strikes Back" event, Heike returned with the same grace, and even more time.

She surfaced after a massive 09:22 minutes, delivering a performance that now stands as a new World Record (pending doping results).

We’re in awe. Congratulations, Heike 🌟!
