Samos Dive Center Samos Dive Center is a the oldest Dive Center in Samos and is situated in the harbour of Pythagorio.

We offer diving opportunities for anybody with any experience level. We aim to provide the best service we can by offering a wide variety of trainings. Samos Dive Center is a the oldest Dive Resort in Samos and is situated in the harbour of Pythagorio. It has two dive boats and caters to small numbers of divers. We offer guided dives, Try Dives for beginners, snorkel trips and SSI courses. Come visit us and talk about how you want to spend your time underwater in Samos.

Today we celebrate our next Instructor joining the new generation of Blue Ocean Architects. Together we build the way to the future of a more impactful way of teaching and sharing the beauty of the underwater world. Edit is a living example of someone open minded, willingness to learn and remaining flexible in any situation while maintaining respect to her own integrity for both herself and people around her.

We are proud of her journey during the long days of the training and we are excited for both her and the people she will share this amazing experience with. We have full confidence in her capability and capacity as an instructor, showing great care for fun and safety for everyone she dives with.

July has been a wonderfully crazy month. We are so grateful for the large amount of ocean adventurers who are visiting our beautiful island to explore the island and waters together. It is amazing to see how many people from all over the world are visiting Samos for the first time and even more who keep on returning and as the month is coming to a close, we want to say thank you to everyone who decided to dive with us, to everyone who joined us during training, all first time divers, experienced divers who want to continue their journey and dive deeper into the knowledge and experience. And an even bigger thank you to the trust that everyone has placed in us, to conquer their fears and experience many new things. Our whole team is passionate about sharing this wonderful experience and we are immensely grateful to everyone who joins us, we do our best to facilitate everyone, even if it means we run 18 hour shifts day by day.

And lastly we want to thank many of our friends who joined us in specialised training this month who faced their fears and conquered personal and underwater challenges to become much more proficient divers.

And a big congratulations to our 2 Master divers who joined us for many dives and training passing the trainings with flying colours!

To each and everyone we say, thank you and enjoy the magic of Samos.

We want to celebrate the special occasion of Tim, who made a big decision in his life, coming to Samos for a month to learn the ropes to become a Professional diver. Not only did he commit himself to this adventure, but he decided to travel alone for his first time and on top of it all, he decided to celebrate his 18th birthday together with us, which was last weekend.

From all of us we want to wish him all the best and many more exciting dive adventures and much more in this new chapter in his life. We are grateful to share all the time together and to learn and grow together.

Last weekend we organised our first Diving & Dining trip. We couldn’t have wished for a better group then who we consider our founding members. Not only did we go out together to explore the sea from both below and the surface, we experienced both excellent cuisine and service from our favourite chef at Restaurant Stella. Not only did I build up the expectation very high, he raised the bar beyond the expectations. We thank him and his wife for the excellent hospitality and amazing food.

During this trip we shared more than just our time, we shared our love of the ocean, for food and bonded by sharing our experience in life beyond just our current trip, creating unforgettable memories and respect for each other. We look forward to organise more trips in the future.

But for now, thank you to everyone who joined and who made this possible.

Today we wish to share how grateful we are to work together with Daniel, he is an amazing person to share underwater time together with. Yet even more importantly and long overdue, we want to congratulate him for participating and succesfully completing our very first Instructor training course and evaluation. For his performance through it all he has finally been officiallyrecognised as an Open Water instructor, being ready to teach as he has proven year after year.

We are both excited and happy to share this moment together and we look forward to continue to dive more! I say this from all of us and everyone who dove with him already and will dive with him. Thank you very much to him and everyone who supported us to make this seminar happen! This is only the very beginning.

A heads up to adventurous food lovers out there. Saturday June 27th, we will organise our first Diving and Dining trip. This unique trip is for adventurers who wish to explore Samos and new tastes on a whole new level. We have 2 more spaces available for any adventurer who wishes to join us for diving/snorkelling in the beautiful bay of Limneonas (one of our favourite diving locations) and afterwards we spend the night in Balos. Where we will visit the exceptional Restaurant Stella for a one of a kind dining experience. It is truely a hidden gem that most people unfortunately miss out on when they visit Samos. At Restaurant Stella they create an out of this world fine dining experience where you can enjoy w**e and food pairing, created by a passionate chef, who makes sure nothing goes to waste using only the finest and freshest ingredients. For anyone who loves and appreciates good food, this is an experience you do not want to miss out on.

For divers, during the trip we will organise 3 dives in total, 1 on Saturday and 2 on Sunday. For non divers you will be able to explore our dive sites from the surface. Everything else is arranged for you, so you can fully enjoy our trip.

Practical organisation:

Saturday June 27th:
Meet up time: 14.30 at the dive center.
Dive 1: Limneonas Bay
Stop 2: Nikolaos bay
18:30: Arrival Balos - Visit rooms/freshen up
19:30 - Fine Dining experience at Restaurant Stella
Sunday June 28th:
10:00 - Meet up at the boat
Dive 2: Kaladakia beach/Blue cave
Dive 3: Kyriakou/Honeymoon beach
13:00 - Return in Pythagorio Port

We are proud to have successfully completed the first weekend of the Diver Stress and Rescue program together with the dedicated members of Ελληνική Ομάδα Διάσωσης Παράρτημα Σάμου - Hellenic Rescue Team of Samos. A little over a year ago we started together with the Open Water diver course, and as always we are amazed by the dedication and seriousness of the team to improve themselves to be ready for the call of duty. We are proud to see how much everyone has progressed in their successful completion of the skills drill course this weekend. We look forward to complete their training during the summer!

Thank you to everyone who participated and who assisted us during the organisation!

We want to thank everyone who has joined us to create new magical underwater memories together so far.
We have been diving with many old friends, new friends, family and more and our team is ready to welcome anyone who wants to explore the beautiful and calm waters of Samos. We are here for young and old, solo and group travellers. Those who wish to learn, those who wish to explore. Whether it is snorkelling, freediving, mermaiding, scuba diving and more, we offer it all, from zero to hero.

Everyone is welcome to join us to discover and meet our underwater friends.
To celebrate and raise awareness, for the new year we offer the unique Nudibranch theory course created by our diving organisation for everyone who wishes to learn more about our favourite small little friends who play an important role in keeping our waters crystal clean. It is a great opportunity to learn and those who dive with us will get to apply the knowledge first hand. This year we offer the course for only €50 to help increase awareness about our little friends.

We are proud to say that we already have started organizing trips to explore the beautiful, calm waters around Samos. We've had brave adventurers join us to make magical underwater memories and say hi to our little friends. Right now there are a lot of Nudibranchs, especially the Peltodoris atromaculata or Sea cow present at our favourite dive sites. We cherish the moments together as we pick up the season and we get ready for the novelties we are planning this season.

We look forward to create many more underwater memories with people around the world.
