Good luck to Michael Board at the CMAS World Championship!

Michael Board started competing in freediving in 2009 and set his first national depth record in 2010. Originally from London he has lived the last seventeen years on a small island in Indonesia called Gili Trawangan, close to Bali, where he owns and runs Freedive Gili, the first freediving Center in Indonesia. Michael set many national records while competing, his deepest dive with the monofin to 111m. However, Michael has not competed since 2018, so this will be his first competition in six years.

Good luck to Harry McCahill at the CMAS World Championship!

Harry started Spearfishing while he was studying Astrophysics at the university of Hawai’i Manoa in 2020. He took his first freediving course in October that year with Johnny Sunnex in the cenotes of Mexico.

Fast forward to now he is co-owner and manager at Blue Element Freediving school in Dominica where he has been based for the last 2 years.

Harry picked up two CMAS National Records in CNF at his first competition and will be focusing on this discipline throughout the World Championship.

Good luck to David Mellor at the CMAS World Championship!

A self-taught spearfisher, David Mellor discovered sport freediving 12 years ago.

David has coached many people to national records and ended last season with 100m dive at the World Championships, bringing home four gold medals. He now has 7 World Records under his weight belt.

David is known among the community as the godfather of EQ, and nicknamed "Medals", for obvious reasons.

Good luck to Ruth Osborn at the CMAS World Championship!

Ruth Osborn currently holds the UK CMAS National Records in FIM 78m and CNF 55m.
Ruth also represented the UK at the 2022 CMAS World Championships in Kas and has been competing since October 2020. She loves the water, is a swimmer and surfer and came to freediving in 2015 as another way to explore and enjoy the water and herself in it.
As part of the collective she’s an advocate for the ocean and tries to live in ways that do least harm to the planet.
