Announcement!
I have to tell you officially, that we are going to close our dancing school “Athens Dance Academy” in Nea Filadelfia from end of March.
Not easy for us: we found really nice friends in Athens, we have great students for longer time now, and Nea Filadelfia is a wonderful part of Athens which is worth to live in.
These are the reasons we keep our apartment in Athens to come regularly to meet ‘our’ people and also to join the great Latin- and Salsa parties.
Why we are closing Athens?
Every summer, when our ‘summer dancing school’ on Paros is open, there is the same problem: The Parians don’t have any time at all in summer to come for dancing, because nearly everyone on Paros works more or less directly for tourism business. They have to drive to our place at Golden Beach (1 hour back and forth from the main city Paroikia) and with a lesson they are at least 2 hours ‘busy’ with us. Not possible of course.
And you cannot imagine how many people really want lessons on Paros, especially in the time ‘off season’ which is about 8 months on Paros and more. The know Bettina, saw her on parties or at Latin shows and they really want her.
The winter-life on an island is not everybody’s ‘like’: we LOVE it and we fell completely ‘home’ on Paros.
And we have the opportunity now on Paros (at Livadia, Paroikia!) to run a dancing school for all year round, with an enclosed Café’ , a big garden for regular Latin parties and a big court for daily Zumba lessons ‘on air’.
Our decision was not easy, but comes from heart: and EVERYBODY is welcome to come to see us-all year round.
It is not a final ‘Bye bye’: many people confirmed already their stay on Paros in summer time- also 2 groups from dancing schools in Athens.

!!! The open air parquet at Golden Beach on Paros will of course stay open for everybody, too: from June until September, as usual.
