EUFIT project EUFIT project promotes physical activity and its importance among people between 25 and 50 years old in the active working ages.

The project concentrates on the “sitting diseases caused by sedentary and low activity lifestyle” and how to avoid them.

In this video our partners from the University of Thrace advice that it is good for your body to use an exercise ball instead of a chair while working on a desc.

They demonstrate how they apply the EUFIT methodology in their workspace and they’re doing a couple of exercises with a balance balls.

There are many perceived benefits of using an exercise ball, such as improved posture, more energy, and better overall balance. Some researches even say that it might even boost core endurance.

Our partners shared insights for the EUFIT methodology, its mission and values.

A recent study uncovered a surprising temporal relationship between cognitive function and physical activity.

Boris Cheval and his colleagues found that higher cognitive function predicted higher physical activity 2 years later and that higher physical activity predicted lower depressive symptoms after 2 more years.

“Engaging in regular physical activity and maintaining high cognitive function are essential for health,” explained study author.

One more reason why we from EUFIT should continue to work hard and promote the physical activity and its importance.
