Daphne Maouni-Thanoglou is a world-renowned Oriental teacher with studies in Greece and abroad. Her love for dance pushed her from a young age to deal with the subject, as a result of which she completed her studies in 2005, having been taught by a Greek, but also by an Egyptian teacher. From 2006 she started working in various dance schools teaching Oriental, until in 2013 she decided to open her

own dance school, which is housed in Amfiali, Keratsini. Dafni's Oriental dance school is the first Certified Oriental Dance Learning Center in Greece, by the UNESCO world organization CID. The school's participations in various dance festivals throughout Greece have been crowned with success, having won many awards and medals. Daphne herself, having obtained a jury degree, has participated as a member of a jury in many dance festivals. Her goal is for more and more women to love Egyptian dance ... Her vision is to demystify the wrong image of the Oriental Dance.

H σχολή μας Dafni’s Oriental είναι το ΠΡΩΤΟ Πιστοποιημένο Κέντρο Εκμάθησης Ανατολίτικου Χορού με Εξειδίκευση στην Διδασκαλία του και Διεθνώς Αναγνωρισμένη από τον Παγκόσμιο Οργανισμό CID OF UNESCO. Το Διεθνές Συμβούλιο Χορού (Conseil International de la Danse – CID – International Dance Council) είναι η επίσημη ανώτατη οργάνωση για όλες τις μορφές χορού σε όλες τις χώρες του κόσμου.Αναγνωρίζεται από την ΟΥΝΕΣΚΟ, τις κυβερνήσεις, τους διεθνείς οργανισμούς και κάθε είδους φορείς. Είναι το κέντρο σύγκλισης διεθνών, εθνικών και τοπικών φορέων, καθώς και επιλέκτων ατόμων που δραστηριοποιούνται στο χορό.Ο χορός της κοιλιάς αποτελεί έναν όμορφο τρόπο γυμναστικής και έκφρασης ταυτόχρονα. Είναι καθαρά γυναικείος χορός, διότι χαρακτηρίζεται από χάρη θηλυκότητα και ενθουσιασμό.
