We had the opportunity to take part in the international seminar of Tenshinsho den Katori Shinto Ryu, under the tutelage of our Sensei, Shihan Otake Nobutoshi, who carries the tradition as his father Otake Risuke.

3 days of intensive training and teachings, together with almost 300 people who traveled from all around the world to Japan. What an amazing seminar it was!

Shikinen Jinkosai 2026
Every year of the horse, Katori Shinto Ryu practitioners have the opportunity to live an unique experience. Wearing traditional yoroi amor, we take part participate in the temple rituals, protecting the passage of the deity.

This year seven people from our dojo traveled to Japan to pay respect and accompany our Sensei, Otake Nobutoshi to this event.

Η Tenshin Shōden Katori Shintō Ryū είναι από τις αρχαιότερες πολεμικές σχολές της Ιαπωνίας και θεωρείται κληρονομιά του Ιαπωνικού πολιτισμού.
Η εξάσκηση δεν είναι μόνο σωματική, αλλά και πνευματική: καλλιεργεί τον σεβασμό, τη συγκέντρωση, την πειθαρχία και την εσωτερική ισορροπία του ασκούμενου.

Διδάσκονται:
– Ξιφασκία με bokken (ξύλινο σπαθί)
– Τεχνικές naginata (ξιφολόγχη), bo (μακρύ ραβδί), iai-jutsu
– Παραδοσιακά Κάτα
– Ιστορικό και ηθικό υπόβαθρο της σχολής
