The words we repeat and the stories we focus on eventually become the reality we live. If we spend our days counting our burdens, life will naturally feel heavy and exhausting. But when we consciously choose to count our blessings, our world immediately starts to feel full, warm, and abundant.

Where your attention goes, your energy flows. Gratitude is so much more than a polite habit, it is the compass that decides whether your days feel like storms or peaceful sunsets. Choose wisely what you speak into existence, and feed the things that bring you peace.

Finding Your Balance: Handstand Drills for Strength & Control

Achieving a stable, weightless handstand is all about building a solid foundation of shoulder power, active core engagement, and precise control. Rather than just kicking up and hoping for the best, practicing targeted drills is the secret to finding your balance and feeling light upside down.

Grab some sliders, socks, or a towel to slide on a smooth floor, and try these powerful exercises:
1/ Plank to Knee-to-Chest: Focus on slow control. Engage your deep core to lift and slide, which perfectly prepares your body for a tuck entry.
2/ Pike Press Handstand: Feel the work in your shoulders and upper back as you practice shifting your weight and floating up.
3/ Straddle Press Handstand: Excellent for opening up the hips and building the control needed for smooth, wide-legged entries.
4/ Hollow Hold: The ultimate core builder. This reinforces a straight, strong body line so you avoid arching your back when upside down.
5/ Shoulder Retractions: Build active, healthy shoulders to ensure a solid and stable base when pushing away from the earth.
6/ Plank to Planche: Shift your shoulders forward to build serious upper-body endurance and learn where your center of gravity is.

Key Tips for Success:
—> Always warm up your wrists and shoulders thoroughly before playing upside down.
—> Prioritize clean form and slow, mindful movements over speed.
—> Keep pushing the floor away actively with your shoulders and keep your core zipped up.

Progress comes to those who enjoy the preparation. Keep showing up, keep practicing, and enjoy the journey to your hands.

Save this post to add these drills to your next practice session. 📌

Sometimes, the best thing we can do for our peace of mind is to simply release our worries and hold onto faith. Having faith doesn’t mean we have everything figured out, it just means we trust that there is a beautiful, natural flow to life, even when we cannot see the path ahead.

When we choose trust over worry, we invite a deep sense of calm into our hearts. Every season of life has its own perfect timing, and by keeping faith close, we allow everything to unfold exactly as it is meant to. All is well, and all will be well.

There is so much peace in letting go of how things “should” turn out.
This timeless wisdom reminds us that everything unfolding in our lives is part of a greater design for our growth. When we focus on doing our best in the present moment without obsessing over the results, we naturally rise above fear and anxiety.
Change is the ultimate law of the universe. By trusting this constant flow and surrendering to the quiet strength within, we find the courage to let go and simply flow with life.

Prayers and patience really do have the power to change everything.
Whenever things feel heavy or uncertain, the best thing we can do is take a deep breath, quiet our minds, and trust the process.

Choosing devotion and staying patient acts like a gentle shield, helping us rise above negativity and find our way back to peace. We don’t have to figure everything out today. We just have to keep our hearts open, keep moving forward with hope, and let the rest unfold.

We often look outside of ourselves for happiness, warmth, or a reason to smile, waiting for the perfect day or the perfect moment to feel good.

But the most beautiful shift happens when you realize you don’t have to wait for the external sun to light up your life. True joy, peace, and warmth always come from within. When you take care of your mind, breathe deep, and love yourself, you become your own source of light.

You don’t need the world to make you happy because you carry the sunshine right inside your own heart.

True connection is never static. To love is to know the beloved again and again-to look at what is familiar with fresh eyes and choose to discover it all over again.

Whether we are on our yoga mat, connecting with others, or meeting our own inner self, love asks us to let go of yesterday’s expectations. By showing up with curiosity, we allow ourselves to continuously fall in love with every new season of life.

Set down what you think you know, and see with the heart.

It is one of the hardest truths to accept: we are ultimately responsible for whatever happens in our lives.

This isn’t about blaming ourselves or carrying guilt, it is about reclaiming our power. When we blame external circumstances or other people for our peace of mind, we become passive observers of our own lives.

But the moment we take total ownership of our choices, boundaries, and reactions, we regain our strength.
We cannot always control the waves, but we can always choose how we ride them.

True freedom begins when we stop looking outward and start looking inward.

Landing a stable forearm stand isn’t about luck, it is about building a rock-solid foundation of shoulder strength, stability, and active mobility.

If you want to conquer gravity and find lightness in your Pincha Mayurasana, you have to fall in love with the preparation work.

Grab your mat and try these powerful drills to prepare your body for flight:
1/ Shoulder Rotations (x10): Gently warm up the joints and invite healthy mobility into the shoulders.
2/ Downdog to Dolphin (x10): Flow dynamically between these shapes to train your shoulders to bear weight actively.
3/ Dolphin Push-ups (x10): Fire up your upper back, chest, and core for a strong base.
4/ Dolphin Walks (x10): Walk your feet closer to your hands to practice stacking your hips over your shoulders.
5/ Single-Leg Dolphin Kicks (x5 each side): Build controlled lift-off momentum and find your balance point.
6/ Block Practice: Place a yoga block between your hands to keep your forearms parallel while practicing your tucks or kicks.

Remember, the strength for inversions is built in the moments we choose to stay, breathe, and actively press the earth away.

There is a quiet power in returning to your heart and whispers of devotion.

When the path ahead feels clouded and the weight of the world seems heavy, prayer is not about demanding change, it is about aligning our spirit with a deeper trust. It is the practice of letting go of how we think things should be, and holding space for what could be.

To keep a prayer in your heart is to stay connected to the light, even when you cannot see it. No matter how long the winter, spring always finds its way.

Keep practicing, keep trusting, and never lose hope. Your hope is the sacred spark that keeps your inner fire burning through the darkest nights.
