Dudek Touch - introducing the new world of parakites!
Parakite is a hybrid between a paraglider and a kite. It combines the idea of paragliders mixed with a steering system known from kites, so the riser system is connected with brakes, allowing for total control over the angle of attack just by the movement of the pilot's hands. Thanks to that, we are greatly improving the control possibilities over the canopy and the flying path.
Parakites are mainly made for fast, dynamic, and fun flying. They work best in the dunes or mountains as "speed flying" wings. Parakites are not a good replacement for traditional paragliders as they don't work well for thermal flights.
A few words about the steering system:
✔️ Full speed: Top speed of the glider, comparable to fully open trims + speed bar on traditional.
✔️ Trimm speed: This may be compared to a traditional paraglider with released brakes and closed trimmers.
✔️ Minimal speed: Comparable to pulling the brakes on a traditional paraglider.
