Coach of Volleyball, Sports Management, Ph.D.
Biography Leon Gaitanakis got his Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education from the National Academy of Sport ‘Vasil Levski’, Sofia- Bulgaria in 1998. In 2013 he got his Master of Sport Administration (MSc) from University of Peloponnese, Sparta-Greece. In 2014 he is Ph.D. Student in Sport Tourism, especially in politics and planning of sports tourism, from the University of the Peloponnese. He has a 18 years working experience in various coaching, scouting, teaching, lecturing and managerial positions in the sports industry. He has been working as a coach and analyzer of volleyball at the many teams and countries, as a teacher of Physical Education at Sport School’s in secondary education and as a lab assistant in higher education. Today work as coach and analyzer of volleyball, part time in sport events and projects as operational manager. He has published many refereed articles in several international journals and conference’s. He is working as specialist on Sport Management, and as a researcher for Sport Tourism Education.
