Αν παρομοιάσουμε το ανθρώπινο σώμα με έναν τροχό, ο κορμός είναι το κέντρο του.
Όταν αυτή η περιοχή είναι δυνατή και σταθερή, τα χέρια και τα πόδια, δηλαδή οι ακτίνες του τροχού, μπορούν να παράγουν και να απορροφούν ενέργεια αποτελεσματικά.

Αν ο κορμός δεν είναι δυνατός, υπάρχει μεγαλύτερος κίνδυνος να τραυματιστείς στο κάτω μέρος του σώματος. Ο λόγος είναι ότι πρέπει να ελέγξεις την αστάθεια του σώματός σου με τα πόδια αντί για τον κορμό.
