At the INWA Convention 2026 in Japan, this session focuses on how individual experiences shape how people learn, progress, and remain active in Nordic Walking.
You will explore the pedagogy of Physical Literacy and how it can strengthen your teaching approach. Through behaviour change frameworks such as the COM-B model and Behaviour Change Wheel, alongside real-life case studies from children to older adults, you will gain a clear understanding of what drives lifelong engagement.
This is practical and relevant. You will leave with strategies, exercises, and new perspectives you can apply straight away to support your walkers and build more effective programmes.
