Yesterday, the masters and instructors of Busumbala Karate Club (BKC) proudly attended and supported the quarterly competition organized by Brikama Banding Drammeh Karate Club under the leadership of Grand Master Sensei Nfamara Demba.
The purpose of the competition was to enhance the performance, confidence, and competitive spirit of the students while helping them gain a deeper understanding of karate competition rules, discipline, and sportsmanship. Events like these play a very important role in preparing young karatekas for future tournaments and helping them understand the true meaning of competition, respect, focus, and self-development in martial arts.
The competition also served as a source of motivation and encouragement for students to remain committed to their karate journey, build self-confidence, and improve both mentally and physically through the art of karate.
Among those present to support and guide the students were the Grand Master of Busumbala Karate Club, Sensei Alfusain Trawally, who is also a proud student of Sensei Nfamara Demba, alongside the Deputy Grand Master of BKC and Referee Chairman, Sensei Abubacarr Sillah. Their presence demonstrated unity, mentorship, and dedication toward the growth and development of karate in The Gambia.
BKC remains committed to supporting initiatives that empower young athletes, strengthen karate knowledge, and promote discipline, unity, and excellence through martial arts.
