TEST MATCH UPDATE

In a friendly test game on Saturday, 13th December 2025, our team held Dampha’s FC to a 2-2 draw at Old Yundum. Goals from Ebrima Sunno and Ebrima Tunkara gave us the result.

A good test for the boys as we continue to build and stay focused on our mission.

Our Academy President, Hon Ousainou J Sawaneh, extends heartfelt congratulations to our Academy Registrar, Sering Jillin Sonko, on his successful completion of the National Youth Leadership Training organized by Peace Ambassadors-The Gambia.

At Smart Stars Football Academy, we strongly believe in the power of peace, unity, and leadership. With the knowledge and skills gained through this training, Mr. Sonko is now better equipped to contribute meaningfully to our mission of promoting peace, discipline, and positive youth development in The Gambia.

Since our inception, we’ve not only trained and mentored young footballers, but also created a platform for discipline, education, leadership, and community development. From weekend trainings and friendly matches to mentorship sessions, fun days, and academic support — we’ve grown into more than just a football academy.
