A Gift Made in Heaven for Young Matty Ndow

TMT FC/FA President Mr. Omar H.O. Saidykhan had a surprise encounter on his way back from today’s grassroots outreach. While traveling, the President spotted a young girl standing on the highway waiting for a lift home from training. He asked his driver to stop and spoke with her. The girl introduced herself as Matty Ndow, a player for Darboe’s Female Team. When Mr. Saidykhan introduced himself as President of TMT, Matty was overwhelmed with joy and said she had been dreaming of meeting him for years, adding that she loves what he is doing for Gambian football.

Moved by the meeting, Mr. Saidykhan thanked Matty and presented her with a new pair of football boots, a match ball, and transport money to get home. Members of the delegation said the moment captured the spirit of the tour, which is aimed at encouraging young players across the country. The team left Matty in tears of joy as she headed home.

TMT FC/FA Extends Support to SESDO

We wrapped up today’s grassroots football support tour at the Serrekunda East Sports Development Organisation (SESDO).The delegation was received by SESDO President Mr. Momodou Yusupha Cham and members of the executive, who welcomed the surprise visit from the First Division club.

During the engagement, the SESDO President thanked TMT FC for the gesture and praised the Club President for the support. Members of the SESDO Executive said it is the first time they have received this kind of backing from a First Division club, and described it as encouragement for community football in the area.

Speaking to them, Mr. Saidykhan said the outreach is part of his agenda to promote grassroot and community football in The Gambia. He said he expects nothing in return and called on football lovers and stakeholders to support the game from the ground up.

In conclusion, our Vice President Mr. Lamin Bojang also added that more visits are planned in the coming weeks to strengthen football development in different Community Zones and Nawettan Centres across the country.

President Saidykhan on Grassroots Football Support Tour.

Our President Mr. Omar H.O. Saidykhan is currently on a grassroots football support tour across the country. He started today’s outreach at Galaxy Football Academy in Tabokoto, where he donated a pair of football boots to one of the academy’s standout players, two match balls to the academy, and 100 dollars to support the academy’s growth.

Players and coaches welcomed the gesture and described it as timely motivation during the off-season. They said the support will help the young players stay committed and keep pushing.

Speaking to the academy, Mr. Saidykhan said the tour is part of his agenda to promote grassroot and community football in The Gambia. He advised the young players to keep believing in themselves and their dreams.

We at TMT are deeply disappointed by the recent publication from Gamfoot Transfers regarding fake player transfers involving our Club President, Mr. Omar H.O. Saidykhan. The story is false, misleading, and was published without any attempt to verify facts with the club. Worse still, sharing the President’s personal details on social media in connection with these claims is completely unprofessional, unethical, and a clear violation of privacy.

As a club, we hold the media to the highest standard of accuracy and accountability, especially when it concerns individuals and the reputation of our institution. By circulating unverified information and exposing personal information publicly, Gamfoot Transfers has tarnished the image of our Club President and brought unnecessary disrepute to our team, our supporters, and the young players we work to develop.

Mr. Omar H.O. Saidykhan rejects these allegations in the strongest terms.We demand an immediate retraction and public apology from Gamfoot Transfers. TMT Football Club has taken note of recent reports circulating on social media, particularly those published by GamFoot Transfers, regarding the alleged transfer of our player, Lamin Bojang (“Tevez”).

While we appreciate the growing interest in Lamin Bojang and acknowledge his immense talent and potential we wish to clarify that several of the reports currently in circulation are inaccurate, misleading and not based on verified information from the club. We therefore urge the public, our supporters and the media to disregard any transfer claims that have not been officially communicated by TMT Football Club.

As the club responsible for the player’s development and contractual affairs, we remain committed to handling all transfer negotiations with the highest level of professionalism, confidentiality and in the best interests of both the player and the club. Any official updates regarding Lamin Bojang’s future will be communicated through TMT Football Club’s official channels at the appropriate time.

We call upon all media outlets and football stakeholders to exercise responsible journalism by verifying information before publication and ensuring that reports relating to player transfers are based on credible and confirmed sources.

A Special Visit from the President 🇬🇲🤝🇱🇻

TMT Football Club President, Mr. Omar H.O. Saidykhan, paid a surprise visit to former TMT player Sanna Jassey in Latvia to watch him in action for JD FS Alberts.

The President thanked JD FS Alberts for their warm hospitality during his visit. The match ended in a 1–1 draw and marked the first time Mr. Saidykhan had the opportunity to watch Sanna play in Latvia.

As part of his European tour, the President will also visit other TMT players across Europe to check on their progress, strengthen relationships, and explore opportunities to build new partnerships that will benefit the club.

The Latvia visit was especially meaningful, as TMT Football Club and JD FS Alberts enjoy a strong partnership focused on player development and long-term cooperation.

The day Saidykhan returned with the all important goal in Jarra.

A return made in Jarra. A goal celebrated in Jarra. We remember the day Mustapha Saidykhan came back from a lengthy spell out through injury and marked it with the decisive strike that secured all three points for TMT Football Club. The young Saidykhan showed no signs of rust, timing his run perfectly to net the winner in a tightly contested match.

That goal didn’t just win the game it lifted the team and gave our travelling supporters in Jarra a moment to remember.

It was more than a goal. It was a statement of resilience.
