This technique takes years to master before you can extract a whole loin straight from the tuna, down to the bone! Anyone who tells you this is easy, is lying.

This is why we always have a line at 85 metres!

Some footage of a curious strike we had this year. The tuna ate the bait at a depth of 85 metres and then probably swam straight up towards us, giving us very little time to react. In these situations you need to make sure you react quickly and set the hook well!
