The most “non-Ferrari” Ferrari ever? Or a glimpse into Ferrari’s future? 🤔
Ferrari’s first fully electric car is finally here and it’s called the Ferrari Luce. A four-door, five-seat EV packing 1,035 horsepower from four electric motors, a 0–100 km/h time of just 2.5 seconds, and a top speed of 310 km/h.
Built on an all-new 800-volt EV platform with a lightweight aluminum chassis, Ferrari says the Luce is also its most aerodynamic car ever. But perhaps the biggest talking point is inside.
The interior was designed by Jony Ive, bringing a minimalist, almost “Apple-like” approach to a Ferrari cabin. Clean surfaces, elegant simplicity, physical buttons, and even a gauge cluster that moves with the steering wheel.
So here’s the big question:
Did Jony Ive’s influence add something fresh and futuristic to Ferrari… or did it take away some of the soul and drama that make a Ferrari feel like a Ferrari? 👀
At around €550,000 ($640,000), the Luce isn’t just Ferrari’s first EV. It may be the boldest identity shift the brand has ever attempted.
Would you own one, or is this too far from what a Ferrari should be?
