Mawuvi BasketBall Fellowship , we believe impact is also about giving young people experiences that expand their world and inspire them to dream bigger.

Coming from Hohoe to Accra for the regional inter basic school sports was already a big experience for many of our MBF kids but for some of them, it was their first time in Ghana's capital city, Accra.

Mawuvi BasketBall Fellowship , we believe in developing young people beyond the basketball court so we made an additional adventure, we took the kids to the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park to experience a part of Ghana’s history, explore a new environment, take pictures, laugh, learn and simply enjoy being young.

This is the kind of impact we want to create.
Not just better basketball players, but young people with broader experiences, bigger dreams and memories that remind them that the world is bigger than their immediate surroundings.

A Major Milestone for School Sports in Ghana 🇬🇭.

The 35th Inter-Regional Basic School Sports Festival marks a historic step as FIBA 3x3 Basketball makes its first appearance in the Primary & JHS Games.

For us at Mawuvi Basketball Fellowship (MBF), Mawuvi BasketBall Fellowship ,this is more than a competition,it is proof that advocacy, persistence, and grassroots development can create lasting change.

🏀 From Advocacy to Reality, from the street and barefoot to the nations 🇬🇭 most cherished court . What a Journey! 🇬🇭

It is an honour and a privilege to represent the Volta Region at the 35th National Basic School Sports Festival here at the University of Ghana.

For me, this moment is deeply fulfilling. Four years ago, MBF began advocating for the integration of basketball into the Basic School Games, starting with exhibition games and consistently pushing for greater opportunities for young basketball talents.

Today, seeing basketball fully featured on this national platform is a beautiful reminder that small beginnings, persistence and belief can create lasting change.

From exhibition games to the national stage, we celebrate the progress, but the journey continues.

From the basketball court to the classroom, from skills development to environmental action, we believe every young person deserves an opportunity to learn, lead, create and make a difference.

Yesterday, I celebrated my 35th birthday.

Rather than receiving gifts, I’m choosing to celebrate by creating opportunities for children and communities through MBF Youth Empowerment Organization.
