ABOUT US
Youth in Focus Association (YFA) is a youth association that has its seat or headquarters at Ho, the capital of the Volta region of Ghana. This vibrant association is comprised of very dedicated execu

tives from some tertiary institutions in Ghana. They are committed to inspiring success habits into the youth of our dear nation, Ghana. Under the specifications of the policies of the national youth authority, YFA tours the various second cycle institutions and churches to talk to the youth with the aim of transforming their thoughts towards youthful and future success from negativity to positivity. We talk to the youth on very sensitive issues and success pushing elements such as the following:

goal setting
time management
networking
youth and spiritual development
youth and drug abuse
Youth and leadership and the like. What is our target group? Just like any other focused association like YFA, our target group include;
Youth of second cycle institutions and
Youth of Christian churches in Volta region of Ghana. Where have we started? This noble association has been brought into been in 2011 when a meeting of selected men and women was held on the campus of St. Francis College of Education, Hohoe. At this meeting, the idea to form this association has been wholly accepted. From there further arrangements were made to achieve the vision of instilling success habits into the youth. The first outreach made was done at Ho, the capital of the Volta region where a group of youths of the Evangelical Royal Generation Church were at their church’s annual convention. As it was and is YFA aims at expanding to all the districts of the region. We hope to establish our branches in the districts and also invite membership within the target group. We hope to subsequently reach out to all the youths of our dear country in the near future. How far have we gone? Within this few months, we have reached out to some session of the youth in the districts including;

Agate Senior High School
Evangelical Royal Generation Church youth
St. Francis College of Education
We also operate a page where we post inspiring and educative comments for the general public to read. We have also established strong ties with the National Youth Authority, Volta region. We were privileged to be part of the DON BOSCO Summer Camp-2012 at Afariwa. How does somebody join YFA? It is just simple.
