Exciting News!
Our Department of Sport and Exercise Science recently hosted a delegation from the University of Limerick, one of our long-standing partners. The visit focused on expanding collaboration between our institutions, particularly in the areas of student and staff mobilities.
We were delighted to welcome Prof. Ian Sherwin and Dr. DJ Collins from the Physical Education and Sport Sciences department at UL. Our Vice-Dean, Prof. Joshua Amo-Adjei, and department staff, including Dr. George Ghartey-Kwansah, Dr. Eric opoku-Antwi, Dr. Beatrice Rockson-Sankah, Dr. Stephen Anim, and Mrs. Josephine Adjubi Kwakye, warmly received the delegation.
The discussions were productive, and we're looking forward to strengthening our partnership and exploring new opportunities for academic and research exchange.

Today marks a remarkable milestone for our final year students in the Department of Sport and Exercise Science, School of Allied Health Sciences, University of cape coast. We couldn't be prouder! From the early days of lectures, labs, and late-night study sessions to the final stretch of projects, presentations, and exams, you've shown unwavering dedication and perseverance. Your hard work, resilience, and passion have been evident from day one, and it's incredible to see how far you've come.
Your journey hasn't been easy, but you've faced every challenge head-on, growing stronger and more confident with each passing year. And now, as you stand on the threshold of this new chapter, we celebrate not just your academic achievements but also the person you've become.
Congratulations on completing your four-year degree! May your future be bright and may your love for sport and exercise continue to inspire and drive you to make a meaningful impact in the world.

One of our Goals is to inspire young minds to pursue their dreams and reach their full potentials. Hence the Department of Sport and Exercise science recently embarked on an outreach programme, visiting two esteemed senior high schools in the cape coast metropolitan area: Efutu senior high school and Academy of Christ The King Senior High School. With passion and expertise, our delegations shared insights on: Admissions, the importance of physical activity and exercise and also, unveiled the vast career opportunities in sport and exercise science.

The Association of Sport and Exercise science Student Week Celebration: Outreach Program
Our student association recently embarked on a fantastic outreach program to Apewosika Basic School and Amamoma Islamic School at Cape University of cape coast! During the visit, our dedicated team delivered engaging talks on the importance of physical activity and proper posture, empowering young minds with valuable knowledge.
The week culminated in an exciting physical activity testing session at the Valco Hall forecourt, open to the entire university community. It was wonderful to see everyone come together to prioritize health and wellness.
Kudos to our student association for organizing such an impactful event!
