A hockey club that is developing hockey in Ghana and the world as a whole

Our maiden Parents and Coaches Meeting took place at the hockey stadium last Sunday where we met the parents and guardians of our young stars. We had a meaningful engagement with them on how to safeguard the interest and future of the children while trusting us to do our part. They received it wholeheartedly and also gave us their full support while appreciating all our efforts these past years.

🏑 A Stunning Comeback: Silver for Ark Ladies! 🥈🔥

After years away from the turf, we made our triumphant return to the annual Fetu Afahye Hockey Tournament, organized by the Central Region Hockey Association and played at the University of Cape Coast and we marked our comeback in style by clinching 2nd place! 🏆💪

Here is how our incredible tournament journey unfolded:

The Opening Penalty Thriller: We kicked off our return against Masters, ending regulation time in a tight 0-0 stalemate. The squad kept their cool under intense pressure to seal a brilliant 2-1 victory on penalties! 🥅⚡

Group Stage Test: We then faced a tough Extinguishers side, dropping a hard-fought match 2-0, but the team bounced right back with unmatched determination to push all the way to the final.

The Grand Finale Rematch: We met Extinguishers once again in an epic rematch for the gold! After another intense 0-0 deadlock through full-time, it came down to a dramatic penalty shootout where we narrowly missed out, losing 2-1.

Stepping back onto the pitch after years away and taking home the silver proves the heart, resilience, and depth of this squad. The comeback is real, and we are just getting started! 🌟💙

Tomorrow, we step on the pitch to play the game we love. Not for pleasure, not for fun. But in memory of a player who ran with us, dribbled with us, played with us, won and lost with us. A brother and a friend who laughed and cried with us. Tomorrow, we step on the blue turf with heaviness rather than an aim. That our once energetic teammate will remember one more time, the game we hold dear. A reminder that life is too short to not do what you love. Tomorrow we wear our boots, raise our sticks and chase the ball in honour of RASHID GUYAM ADAMS. A brother only lost physically but continues to stay in our hearts. Rest well mate!

🏑 Growing the Game, One School at a Time! 💙

On Monday 27th July, 2027, Ark Hockey Academy officially introduced field hockey to the students of Most Holy Heart School.

The excitement from both the teachers and students was truly inspiring! Seeing young minds eager to learn and experience the sport reminds us why we do what we do.

As an academy, one of our core missions is to introduce and develop field hockey among children, nurturing the next generation of players while promoting teamwork, discipline, and healthy living.

Here's to many more schools, more smiles, and more hockey! 🏑✨

It's official 🥳🥳🥳. Ark Hockey Academy has extended hockey to the Most Holy Heart School through our school linkage programme. This is what we do and we're more than happy to do it.

Training is still ongoing here at Ark Hockey Academy. This is a typical Sunday training with the u10 group. We are committed to raising a different generation of hockey players. Age doesn't matter.

SAD NEWS

Ark Hockey Academy regrettably announces the death of promising Ark Men's Rashid Adams who died after battling a short illness. This news comes as a blow to all of us because we hoped he would get better soon and join us on the pitch this season. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family as we celebrate the life of a dear athlete.

May he rest in peace 🕊️.
