Those who are techy have questioned how do you cool a 480hp, 3000cc, V8 engine and stop it over heating. Well this is the reality....racing at 200mph, the bike will have enough air to cool itself and not over heat, like most race cars/bikes. (my H2R has no rad fan for example). Change the brief to riding in London traffic for 45mins on a 28c summer day, and that is a whole different challenge. We have performed lots of heat output, CFD testing and flow dynamics work. This has resulted in fitting a discreet front rad and hidden fan for slow riding, a sub engine rad and hidden fan for higher speeds with CFD designed air positioning grills, and a rear under seat oil cooler and mini fan. A CFD designed front mudguard will flow air towards the fans 10% better than a normal front mudguard. Using clever CFD, we have managed to fit all these rads to the bike, with no aerodynamic drag to the frontal area. The bike will be able to ride in London on sunny days and then go to Elvington and perform in Top Speeds events... tons of work, but that is what customers will expect.
