We had a somewhat drizzly group this morning, but luckily for us that meant spotting some tiny frogs out enjoying the moist cycle path! 🐸 🐸

Have no fear, though - our nature-loving Lucy managed to pick them up and move them out of harm's way.

A big thank you to our Wednesday Walk Leader, trusty sidekick and Robin to my Batman - Lucy! 😘

This National Volunteers’ Week, we want to say a huge thank you to all the volunteer instructors within British Nordic Walking.

Across the UK, our volunteers give up their time to introduce people to Nordic walking, support communities, encourage confidence, improve wellbeing, and help people keep moving.

The first bit of good news is that groups resume this week following my recent accident - hurrah! 😃

The second bit of good news is this Dr Chatterjee podcast episode about walking! Well worth a listen, and many of the walking gait points discussed relate to the INWA Nordic Walking technique, such as the importance of foot-roll, propulsion and power, arm swing, rotation, and eyes to the horizon!
