Yoxford Cricket Club has received this info for anyone that would like to attend Andrew’s funeral.

Andrew Glasson’s funeral will take place on Tuesday 4th November at Seven Hills Crematorium in Ipswich at 12.

Followed by a gathering at Venue 16 in Ipswich.

No flowers.
Dress as you feel.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made via funeral director Alec Butcher and will be set aside for the children’s futures.

It is with great sadness that the club shares the recent passing of former club member Andrew Glasson at the age of 47
‘Glas’ was a hugely popular member of both 1st & 2nd IX teams between 1998 to 2008 which included several league promotions and the clubs Federation Cup win in 2003.
Our thoughts and condolences go out to his family and friends at the sudden loss of such a wonderful man.
Further details of funeral arrangements will be posted when we receive them.

Tom Drivers 109* vs Stowupland at home where his 2nd fifty came in only 25 balls with a 4 through third man to win the game

For all his work behind the scenes and for scoring most games for us this season. Also for occasionally putting on his whites even though he claims to hate to. Club joker and p*** taker

As Yoxford CC near the end of another busy season we have hosted our two historic matches - President’s and Colletts.
With the 1st XI away for both matches, we drafted in our U16 players. With an incredible 60 from Josh and some great teamwork in the field, Yoxford came out victorious in the Presidents game🏏

After suffering defeat away to West Mersea last week, Yoxford beat East Bergholt at Grove Park.🏏🐂

An outstanding and classy 126* from number 3 Chris Mears, as well as a solid 50 from the skipper and a fine 76* from Tom Driver got us back to winning ways in the sweltering heat at Mildenhall yesterday 👏🏏☀️
