About me <3 I began singing lessons at the tender age of 7, and since then i have not stopped! I have a BTEC National Diploma in Musical Theatre, along with Grade 8 Classical Voice and Cello, and Grade 5 in Piano and Music Theory. I have undertaken several short courses with the Manchester College of Music and frequently attend masterclasses for the classical voice. Alongside this i have also just completed a Biology for Singers course, which is essential information for the serious singer. I am also an Associate of the London College of Music. For the past 5 years, i have put my heart and soul into performing. Working as a wedding singer and entertainer, i've had the opportunity to work closely with all kinds of people of various ages and backgrounds, but most of all I thrive when working with the young voice. I have taught singing and music within various companies, including Stagecoach and Opera Youth, and through this i understand that as a young singer just starting out, the task can be daunting, maybe you're embarrassed or shy and need a confidence boost. I take pride in developing young voices, and giving them the confidence they need to reach their potential. I teach from my home in Elvington, York, or I am able to travel to you if you have suitable space. I cover the York area but would be willing to travel a little further if the student wished. I teach beginners to intermediate level from Piano using sheet music, but i occasionally like to use backing tracks as this allows me to watch the student more carefully. I also provide my student with CDs so they may practice between lessons. Pricing is as follows. 30 mins - £15 1hr - £25
