What an awesome three days of camp - an emphasis on spacing, passing and advantage play using 3x3 concepts was the theme of camp and each day we saw an incredible development in each group and individually!

Most Valuable Player ⭐️ - Trevor Wood

Black/Grey Group - U14-U18

Trevor truly earned this award, his aptitude and application towards every drill is outstanding, always keeps himself to high standards, which allows him to really push himself and this week he definitely did that! His defensive IQ has improved, his reading of the game is also improving and it’s going to be an exciting season for him! Well Done Trevor 👏

Most Improved Player 📈- Tallulah Gomez Johnson

Black/Grey Group - U14-U18

Tallulah has been a revelation to watch and coach this week at camp. Not only has she displayed some impressive growth in her skills, but at the age of 11, she played in the top group at the camp and did not look out of place! This allowed T to be surrounded by high level athletes, which certainly pushed her this week! Her ability to finish at the basket has become more effective. But her attitude and application to learn and push herself is truly inspiring! Well Done T! 👏

Ben has continued his impressive summer, becoming a true leader in all aspects of the game at his age, his ability to score from all areas of the court, his spacing, and off ball movement have serious impacts in the game! What’s more important is that Ben has started to develop that “creator” mentality with his excellent IQ as he makes himself look good and his teammates too! Well Done Ben 👏

Basketball ex*****on was much better today, with an emphasis on our push/pull concepts and advantage play in the half court along with skills based practices with plenty of ball handling, 1st step exploration movements into finishing

Day 1 ✅

Big focus on 3x3 play, spacing and passing being a theme throughout camp, and some on ball defence added in. We had a guest in the form of Coach Darren Taylor, fresh off being apart of the backroom staff for the GB U23 3X3 Tour in Europe, picking a gold medal as well, sharing tips and tricks of 3x3 and spreading its impact on the game and transferring skills to 5v5.
