Fantastic achievement for Oaks member Ollie, well done from everybody at The Oaks ⚽️

From Bubwith to the Leeds United first team!!!

18-year-old Ollie Pickles, who has grown up in Bubwith, has been in the USA as part of the Leeds United first-team squad, with games taking place in Tampa, New York and Chicago.

And in Tampa, Ollie made his first-team debut against Wrexham, coming on as a substitute in the 73rd minute.

What a moment.

To be 18 years old and travelling with the first team, playing in the USA and then making your debut is a fantastic experience, and one that we're sure Ollie will never forget.

It's also something pretty special for a local community to see one of its own reaching such an exciting stage in their career.

A huge congratulations to Ollie and everyone who has supported him along the way.

We can't wait to see where the journey takes you next, Ollie.

A brilliant effort from our Scratch Team finishing T2nd in Yorkshire Division 1 Scratch Team Championship at Selby GC yesterday with an aggregate score of 2 under gross over 36 holes. The Oaks are ranked the joint second best scratch team in Yorkshire for the second year running! Well played Jake, Steve and Sam, and thanks to ejs_uk 👏
