We are the newest and fastest growing competitive club at the University run by a dedicated team of students, giving you the opportunity to train and compete in an adventurous, fun, tough and friendly sport. Massive congrats to everyone who competed in the Roses Unlocked Pentathlon last weekend!!
Our women's teams came overall 1st and 2nd and our men's team came 1st!
Brilliant effort everyone!! 🥇🥈🥇

Roses unlocked is next weekend! 30th April - 2nd May. Sadly this year we are unable to run a full triathlon but we are still getting involved as a club. We have 4 teams entered into the pentathlon. If you are interested in competing in any of the activities, message the page or one of the committee members to get signed-up!

We’ve got a sponsor! 🚴🏼🎉

This year our club will proudly be sponsored by Triathlon Bikes 😁 They’ve got a shop on Walmgate selling road bikes, wetsuits and more. They also have an in-house coffee shop, Kona Coffee ☕️ !

We’re back in lockdown and it sucks. We can’t train together but we want to make sure that we still feel connected as a club and keep ourselves active.

We’re hoping to do an online social, such as a pub quiz, so that everyone can see each other and have a laugh. We’re in this together.

Our coaches will also be giving out running sets in the group chat so keep an eye out for that.

We also have a club strava group, it’d be amazing if you could all join! Search for University of York Triahtlon (UYTC).

Monday: 7 - 8 pm, Group Run, meet outside sports centre
Tuesday: 10 - 10:45 am, Spin, meet by reception in the sports village
Thursday: 6.30 - 7.30 or 8 - 9 am, Swim at sports village
Friday: 8 - 9 pm, Track Run, athletics track by James College
Saturday: Group Ride, various distances, time is weather dependent, meeting outside the sports centre

We hope you have enjoyed the first two weeks of triathlon club! Our trial period has now finished, so we’re asking everyone to now buy their membership. To start things off we have our group runs tonight, meeting outside the sports centre at 7pm. All abilities are welcome!
