Right! The new dances for 2018/19 are out and I've got big plans for this year... I'm on the lookout for lots more new recruits to join our group and give us the chance to enter some extra divisions on top of our usual Solos, Couples and Duos categories - so let us know if you (or any of your friends) want to join in the following:
Quads (4 dancers) Team (6-8 dancers) Showcase Duos (2 dancers) or Cabaret Team (8 - 10 dancers)
Spread the word - let's get York represented!

Not long to go until the UKDC European Championships, then we'll be getting back into a new year of competitors! As always we'll be looking for new dancers for our Starter division... but we're also planning to enter more categories this year - including Duos, Teams & Quads!
Don't forget about the 'Showcase Duos' category... if you & a buddy have skills and tricks you want to show off, or want to perform a different dance style (like Classical, Contemporary or Acro) then you can create your own routine and enter it as a Showcase!

New Modern Line dance class starts next week Wednesday 5th July from 8pm at Huntington WMC. Mixed level class for all ages (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult). £5 all night (spectators/non dancers free entry) Pass it on!!

The dances for this year's UKDC competitions are out! All Newcomer dancers (last year's Starter) will be dancing a Waltz and a Cha Cha in solos. New Starter dances will be dancing to Whistle While You Work it by Katy Tiz

If any dancers are interested in Quads - the music this year is quite funky! On the Floor by J-Lo :-D
