As many of you will know, Grant would have been turning 60 at the end of this month.

In true Grant fashion, one of his slightly bonkers plans to mark the occasion was to pull on a rugby shirt and take to the pitch again, possibly for the last time… although knowing Grant, probably not!

So, in his memory, we are making sure that plan still happens.

On Saturday 10th October, friends and former teammates will come together for a very special memorial rugby match to celebrate Grant’s life and raise money in his memory.

📍 York Sports Club, Shipton Road
📅 Saturday 10th October
🏉 Kick-off: 2:15pm

And, of course, this couldn't just be any old rugby shirt. The lads will be taking to the field in a special tartan strip featuring the colours of Grant’s beloved Hearts FC.

As well as remembering a top man, the afternoon will be about raising as much money as possible for a fantastic cause in Grant’s memory. There will be opportunities to donate and support the fundraising on the day, so please come along, get behind the lads and help us make a real difference in Grant’s name.

Everyone is welcome. Bring your family, bring your friends, enjoy some rugby and help us make it an afternoon worthy of Grant.
