R Jay Ward Racing was established in 2010 by Jason Ward after he retired from a long and successful career as a jockey and work rider and assistant trainer. Jason, who is son of famous Doncaster trainer Bob Ward and grandson to champion jockey Charlie Ward, has ridden more than 500 professional races in his career in all corners of the globe, including the UK, the Scandinavian Circuit, France, Ger
many for trainers such as Lester Piggot, Mark Johnston etc. He started his training career as an assistant to James Fanshawe in Newmarket where he stayed for seven year and worked with some of the biggest stars in the racing world. Jason then went to work with Garry Woodward for twelve months where he gained invaluable all weather training experience. The year before he started his own operation he was head lad to Richard Whittaker when the yard enjoyed its most successful year in more than a decade. Jason established his own training business at Clumber Park near Worksop in Nottinghamshire, before moving to Middleham in July 2011, where he occupies the townโs most famous yard, Manor House Stables, otherwise known as the Dante Yard. Dante, the last northern Derby winner, was foaled and raised at Manor House Stud, about a third of a mile up the road, but trained at Manor House Stables. We welcome new owners here at RJAYWARDRACING and there are many options available. Whether it be 100% ownership of your horse or a part share of a horse in a syndicate. At the moment we have shares available for owning 1/8 of a horse, three 2yolds in full training and running now, which has proved very popular but will accommodate any interest. Please feel free to contact us to discuss the current horses available. We feel we are very competitive and there is no VAT on our training fees which makes us more attractive to potential owners as this can make the monthly fees much more affordable. Please feel free to contact us to discuss ownership, part ownership and syndicates. We have an open door policy and can make racing affordable to absolutely anyone and everyone.
