Remember to pay at the hut.. fill in a ticket, keep the stub, then post the money+ envelope. Farmer Foster checks each day - usually in stealth mode .If you are very lucky you might see him and even get a chat in

The fish are raring to go. .. new Tench have been feeding + growing. We just need the weather to cheer up.. but otherwise we are Pond ready !

No driving along the bankside to the ponds please.. it is very very wet.. you'd get stuck very quickly.

100 Tench have gone in pond 1 ,and pond 2.
6-8 inch at this time. There has been a shortage of Tench nationally related to the prolonged warm dry weather summer apparently... so they are very precious.
If you see that cormorant hovering 🦅 can you scoot him away 💣 💥🗣

Thanks as always to Mel at Carpvale Fisheries Ltd for sound advice and beautiful fish . The new tench are in Ponds 1&2.
We are always watching the ponds via cctv ,and know there are (were) 2 cormorants about 🦅. Mr Foster is doing his best to keep the remaining one away from our new additions 🗣🐟 💥 !
Feel free to chase him away if you see him ( the bird - not Mr Foster).
