⚠️ Instagram Account Security Update

Yesterday, our Instagram account was compromised. During this time, an unauthorised story was posted and direct messages containing a link were sent from the account.

We have now regained control of the account and secured it.

If you received a direct message or viewed a story containing a suspicious link, please ignore it. If you clicked the link and entered any account details, we recommend changing your password and enabling two-factor authentication.

Happy Friday! For those of you taking part in the Yorkshire Wolds Ultra 2026, why not consider taking part in the Bishop Wilton Beast, a 7 mile trail event hosted by another local event organiser.

This event is the weekend before ours and you get to practice the "beast", a little tough climb that is on our route shortly after leaving checkpoint 1 - as pictured.

As Wold Rangers Way Ultra 2026 draws to a close, we would like to share the positive impact everyone has made.

🎁 £920 has been raised for charity and local community projects.

🌳 271 trees have been planted by Earth Runs.

♻️ 88 items of clothing and equipment have been donated to Preloved Sports.

🏃🏼‍♀️39 volunteers helped make it happen.

🏃🏼55 people crossed the finish line as an ultra marathon runner for the first time.

🏃🏼‍♀️ 45% of the start line were women.

These events are much more than a run. Thank you again to everyone who was part of an amazing day ♥️

Hopefully we'll see you next year. Entries go live this weekend 😉

It genuinely makes a big difference to us as a small independent event organiser. If you’re unable to leave a Google review, a review on our page via the reccomend link would mean just as much.

If you have any feedback, feel free to message us directly as well. Honest feedback is always welcome.

Here are the things we will be changing for this event in 2027:

✅A small route adjustment at Huggate to reduce confusion on the out-and-back section

✅ A revised route around Wetwang for better views and a safer road crossing

✅ More time to cancel: you’ll be able to cancel up to 3 weeks before the event and receive a 90% refund

✅ More time to sell your place: you’ll be able to transfer your entry to someone you find (with a 90% refund) up to 2 weeks before the event
