Sad news 😢

Due to an unsustainable increase in fees imposed on us for the last few years, the tennis club is being forced to close, effective immediately.

We will not be open to new members or renewals this year.

The Junior Academy should continue to run for the time being, please discuss with the coach, Rob, for more details.

We would like to sincerely thank all our members over the many great years we've had, and we hope there may be an option to return in the future.

For now, it's goodbye 😢

Huge congratulations to Emily and Matthew who both won medals at the Special Olympics in Germany! 🏅🏅

Emily and Matthew are part of the York Disability Tennis Network, coached by club member Rob Hodge, with Emily training at Strensall as part of our YDTN sessions on Wednesday evenings!

Great conditions for tennis and an enjoyable and close fought match against opponents Copmanthorpe!

** STRENSALL JUNIOR ACADEMY TENNIS SESSIONS ARE BACK FOR 2023! **

We are delighted to announce that our junior tennis academy will be returning to Strensall Tennis Club after the half term holiday, beginning on Monday 20th February 2023!

All details can be found on the attached flyer.

Whether your child is a complete beginner, or has had more practice on court, our sessions are suitable for everyone and everyone is welcome!
