Hull Road Park Bowling Club, York Formed in 1927, Hull Road Park Bowling Club is one of the oldest bowling clubs in York. The Club i HRP welcomes both new starters and experienced bowlers.

Hull Road Park Bowling Club (HRP) started in 1927 at the City of York Council owned Hull Road Park on the east side of the City. Although the Club has changed home greens several times it is still going strong. In 2021 HRP was offered the use of the excellent facilities at the York Railway Bowls & Social Club. Our members play in Club competitions, local leagues and County competitions. HRP has wo

n many competitions over the years and is affiliated to the York Amateur Bowls Association (YABA), Yorkshire Bowling Association (YBA) and Bowls England (BE). Open April to September

Great performances all round, in a competition that started in June, culminating in the Semi Finals and Final yesterday. Well done lads!!🧿

A big thank you to Vic Thompson (YABA Jun.Vice President) for presenting our club competition trophies, the Eric Wilkinson Plate and the Coronation Cup. Congratulations to all winners and runners up.

Congratulations to all the winners of the Club Competitions, and a special mention to winners of the York Super 7s, the Yorkshire County Over 65s Fours, the YABA Singles and the Hot Shots Club.
