Today we got a first cut of the week in at Ilchester FC. The Main pitch is well on the road to recovery and in full match prep, getting ready for the weekend and hosting a County Cup game 💪

The Youth pitches are also returning to a decent state with just one lagging a week behind.

It’s been a long road to get here but they’re finally in good condition and ready for football ⚽️

Well it’s been yet another very busy week at JE Groundcare

We began the week by getting brand new pitch out in for Yeovil & District Mini Football League newcomers Curry Rivel Youth FC before a trip to Ilchester FC for the first of 2 cuts this week.

A wet Tuesday saw a planning trip to Lyme Regis Football Club and a pitch marked up at Axminster Town Football Club 'AFC'.

Wednesday was the turn of Hemyock Football Club and Martock Rovers to be overmarked with a trip on Thursday to Mere Town Youth FC for initial markings and an overmark at Pen Mill Youth Football Club before rounding off the week at South Cheriton United FC and a 2nd cut and mark at Ilchester.

On Wednesday we made a 2nd visit to Ilminster Town Youth Football Club to continue placing and making their youth pitches ahead of the season.

With a lot to fit in and crickets squares to be avoided, good dialogue with the club was essential to ensure everything fitted where the customer required.

We’ll be back for a third time soon to finish off the final couple of pitches 👍

Earlier this week we visited Wessex Football League side Blandford Utd FC to give their pitch an initial mark for they start hosting games after the cricket season.

Yesterday we visited Parley Sports Youth FC to mark their pitches ahead of the season starting soon.

We ensured the pitches were correctly marked while also allowing room by the shared cricket square as well as placing additional pitches inside pitches.

As we look forward to another very busy week of initial and overmarkings we look back to last week where we visited a number of clubs to get them ready or top up their pitches ready for the new season.

We overmarked Martock Rovers, Hemyock Football Club and Pen Mill Youth Football Club as well as getting initial marks and positions down at Ilminster Town Youth Football Club and Combe St Nicholas FC 💪

It’s been another very busy week at JE Groundcare 💪

We began the week off by travelling to Laverstock & Ford Sports Club to mark their 11v11 side pitch.

In a tricky location, between their cricket square and residential gardens, we ensured a maximum size while still giving adequate run off for player safety.

We recently did something a little bit special for Yeovil Cricket Club

For the their upcoming Sponsors Day, this weekend, we have marked their club logo on the outfield 🤩

To ensure we stayed on point with club branding we created a bespoke paint mix to match the maroon of the club crest, providing good contrast on the ground surface 👌

The logo is 15m tall, adding a professional image to the ground ahead of a big day for the club

We hope everyone enjoys a great weekend of cricket 🏏
