The countdown is ON! 🙌

In just 2 DAYS, our Pen Mill Mini Stars returns to Johnson Park, and we can’t wait to welcome our littlest footballers back onto the pitch! 💚

We’ve already had a brilliant response, with lots of little Mini Stars planning to join us — and there’s still time to get involved! 🌟⚽️

Whether your child has kicked a football before or is trying it for the very first time, everyone is welcome.

Our brilliant FA-qualified Pen Mill coaches will be ready to introduce your little ones to football in a fun, friendly and welcoming environment.

⚽️ MATCH REPORT | PEN MILL vs ASHCOTT ⚽️

Pen Mill 1–1 Ashcott

A strong performance from Pen Mill today, with plenty of positives to take away from the game! 💪⚽️

🔥 FIRST HALF

Pen Mill started brightly and looked the stronger side throughout the opening half.

The boys played some really positive football, creating plenty of chances and getting themselves into some excellent positions. On another day, we could easily have found ourselves several goals ahead, with five or six good opportunities narrowly going begging.

Despite the pressure and chances created, we couldn’t quite find that finishing touch, and the teams went into the break with the score still 0–0.

⚽️ SECOND HALF

Pen Mill came out after the break determined to get the goal their performance deserved — and eventually the breakthrough arrived!

Ollie found the back of the net to put Pen Mill 1–0 ahead! ⚽️🙌

Ashcott continued to battle and worked their way back into the game. With around ten minutes remaining, they were awarded a penalty, which they converted to bring the scores level at 1–1.

The boys kept battling right until the final whistle, but there was to be no late winner, with the game finishing all square.

While there was some disappointment at conceding the equaliser late on, there was plenty to be proud of from the performance.

The boys created chances, worked hard for one another and showed some really encouraging football throughout. Lots of positives to take forward into the next game! 🐾💪

💚⚽️ PEN MILL PREDATORS | AWAY WIN AT BEAMINSTER! ⚽️💚

A fantastic 3–2 away win for our U12 Predators tonight, who continue to compete brilliantly playing up in the U13 Division! 👏🔥

Tonight’s opponents were Beaminster, and both teams started strongly.

The Predators struck first from a corner. After the ball took a deflection off a Beaminster defender, Zach reacted quickest and smashed it home to give us the lead! ⚽️

Our second soon followed. Jackson’s attempted shot broke kindly for Zach, who produced a brilliant looping finish over the goalkeeper for his second of the evening! 🔥⚽️⚽️

We quickly added a third when Ethan delivered a low cross into the box for Toby to finish, putting the Predators firmly in control. 🙌

Beaminster pulled one back before the break, sending us into half-time with a 3–1 lead.

The second half was a real battle. Our defence worked incredibly hard, while Blakely remained alert between the sticks as Beaminster continued to push.

We had opportunities on the break to extend our lead but couldn’t quite convert them. Beaminster grabbed a late goal, but the Predators held firm to secure a brilliant 3–2 AWAY WIN! 💚💪
