A little bit new mixed with some old!

Back in the day when I first started I made jewellery with beads and then found fused glass specifically dichroic glass and that started my Shelden Glass journey 20 years ago!

I continued to add beads to my work with glass but in recent years I stopped,then on our cruise I took a pair of my old earrings (see 2nd photo) and loved wearing them and voila here is a new but fabulous old range!

Happy Saturday!

We have had a lovely week, including bespoke private workshops and a larger travelling workshop too.

We also welcomed R. A. Whitworth Art to our shop as a featured artist for a month

Becky won the recent Art Race and as a prize we offered wall space to the winning artist and we are delighted to have 4 of Becky's original pieces adorn our walls

The Art Race is where the artists paint something for 20 minutes and go through 3 rounds (full details on their page in the link above!) And they are voted by the public with the pieces going into an auction at the end.

They look amazing up next to our other artists too!

We are also open this Sunday (21st) as it is the fabulous The Sherborne Market too so Sherborne will be alive with lots of traders up and down the streets.

Last Friday we went along to support another local business celebrating their 3rd Birthday

The Sherborne Practice for Counselling and Psychotherapy

Its a beautiful place and Becky is so welcoming. Was nice for us to catch up with people we knew too!

A quick review of our last week with a trip to Looe and a stay Ashen Cross Holiday Cottages Cornwall was totally wonderful and relaxing, the owners are fabulous and its the little touches, the dog blankets and treats, the milk, scones, fresh bread and eggs on arrival,the mod week check ins to see if all is ok. We go back here time and time again! Dog walks, fishing (they have their own lake which is full of fish, Andy fished every day).

A birthday meal (yes I am now another year closer to 60!)

Then back home on Saturday to prep and put 3 kilns on before I headed off with one if my friends to London on Sunday morning. We nattered all the way there, met with her daughter mooched around Covent Garden then did the Traitors Live experience... as someone who has never seen it (I know!) It was brilliant so much fun, then a great meal out, back to her daughter's flat to chat some more, a lazy Monday morning before heading back on the train to Sherborne and met by hubby to then do a complete renew of the window!

We have now showcased ideas for Father's Day, Teachers gifts and a celebration for Pride Month too along with all the usual sparkles!

Life is a gift and we are truly blessed 🥰

A personal post today

I am so lucky to be married to this amazing man! 5 years today. Side by side in all we do including our business too!

Today I am at Clarks Village with our stall and Andy is at our shop in .

We are off out to dinner tonight to celebrate 🥳 🥰
