Our clubhouse has two lounges. The main lounge is a large, bright and airy room which can be setup for dinners, dinner dances, discos and bands or just a plain old get together for a large number. The main lounge offers a versatile space which can be set up according to your requirements and its own bar. The John Merry lounge is a smaller room but is still bright and airy. It can be setup for dinners or meetings and has its own bar. This lounge has a large, state of the art plasma screen which has connections for computers and other devices. It is perfect for the smaller meeting or function. For hire charges please contact the club steward

🏉 MEMBERSHIP DEADLINE REMINDER – 30TH SEPTEMBER 🏉

A reminder to all players that 2026/27 membership must be paid by Wednesday 30th September.

⚠️ If your membership has not been paid by the deadline, you will not be eligible to play for Yeovil Rugby Club until payment has been made.

We completely understand that circumstances are different for everyone. If you are struggling to make payment, please don’t ignore it.
Speak to your Team Manager or Coach, or contact the club directly by email. We will always try to help where we can and discuss the options available.

Please make sure you get this sorted before 30th September so there is no disruption to your rugby.

⚫️⚪️ THE 26/27 SEASON STARTS HERE! ⚪️⚫️

After a delayed start, the wait is finally over… this weekend marks the opening weekend of the 2026/27 season! 🏉🔥

And what a way to get things underway, with both of our Senior Men’s sides in action!

🏉 1st XV — AWAY
The 1st XV head to North Dorset RFC 2nd XV, who join the league this season. A new opponent and a fresh challenge to kick off the campaign!

🏉 BARBARIANS — HOME
Our Barbarians welcome Wellington RFC 2nd XV to Yeovil, also joining the Barbarians’ league this season. The Pigs will be looking to start their campaign with a big home performance! 💪

Both sides kick off at 14:00.

After a tremendous turnaround throughout pre-season, the boys are ready to get stuck in — with preparations boosted by the hard work of the players and the new and improved coaching setup.

Now it’s time to put all that work into action. 💥

Something is building at Yeovil Rugby Club…

Tuesday night’s training gave us a glimpse of what’s to come, with a fantastic session for the Men’s Squad and a real buzz around the place.

With two absolute club legends joining the coaching team, there’s fresh energy, fresh ideas and plenty to be excited about as we move into the season.

The squad split into backs and forwards for dedicated coaching, working through a huge variety of skills, drills and game situations – with plenty of fitness thrown in for good measure! 💪

And now we want to build.

Harry’s rugby story started right here at Yeovil Rugby Club, growing up through the club and progressing into senior rugby.

After taking a hiatus from the game for a few seasons, Harry has made his return to the black and white – and his reappearance has certainly been a welcome one. It’s always special to see one of our home-grown players come back through the gates, pull the shirt on again and look completely at home doing it.

His return has already made an impact too, with Harry picking up a Man of the Match award during our Big Game against the Coldstream Guards RFC in August.
There’s also a particularly personal connection behind Harry’s sponsorship.

Our Yeovil Mixed Ability Team got together on Saturday for some training, a bit of an interview and a touch game to get everyone warmed up and ready for the season ahead!

It was also the perfect opportunity for the team to proudly show off their brand-new kit and the fantastic local businesses supporting them this season. 🙌

🏉⚜️ HELP SEND MAISIE TO THE WORLD STAGE! ⚜️🏉

We’ve got a fantastic day of rugby and fundraising coming to Yeovil Rugby Club — and we’d love to see the whole YRC family there! 🖤🤍

One of our own, Maisie, has been selected to attend the World Scout Jamboree 2027 in Poland, where she’ll represent the UK — and proudly fly the flag for Yeovil Rugby Club too! 🌍⚜️

And what better way to support her than with a day that shows just what our club is all about?

🏉 Our Age Grade teams will be hosting their first home games, giving our young players the chance to get out on the pitch and show us the future of YRC.

🏉 We’ll also have a Mixed Ability rugby game, celebrating the fact that rugby really can be a game for everyone.

Then, as the rugby finishes, we’ll head into the clubhouse for Maisie’s Charity Fundraising Evening! 🎉
