Took a big step up yesterday to compete in my first National comp. Set myself some goals for the day, hit some huge PBs and come away with 9th place! Blown away with the support I received from friends and clients. Safe to say I’m feeling pretty broken today but a recover massage first thing I’m feeling better already. Now for a rest week then we set some new goals and go again! Big thanks to Andy Bolton for the coaching, for sports nutrition and LJP Sports Therapy for soft tissue therapy and sports massage

Another comp done with white and Sam Beard competing in Somerset show never an easy comp as the line up is always brutal with some great competition. Doogle did amazingly well finishing 8th and hitting PBs on every event. Sam Beard put in a good shift ending up 4th knocking on the door of a podium position but at the end it was anyone’s to play for, and with the atlas stones being a tough last event being on grass anyone of the top 5 could have podiumed. A massive well done to both clients. Now time for a rest and build ready for future comps. Also great support from other clients and friends

Massive progress on Saturday brining the two units into one. A massive thanks to Ethan Beckett Sam Beard Amy Hull Thomas Mackenzie Leanne Mackenzie and of course my wife LJP Sports Therapy without these people this would not have been possible. Soon the new bigger improved gym will be ready.

What a day yesterday Bristol's Strongest 2024 was with six clients competing Shaun Whittaker Nicola Whittaker Amy Hull Reece Roberts and . Not everything went well with getting quite a nasty cut on her hand and having to go to hospital at the time she was leading the women inters. Doogle and Reece gave a strong performance finishing 8th and 12th. finished 3rd with an event win was impressive to see this 17 year olds pressing abilities and mental strength in competition.
finished 2nd which was a fantastic effort as he has only been competing for 6 months, he has been training hard and being consistent this definitely paid off.
And of course who finished 1st. Over the past few months she has been consistent and hit every milestone set, the hard work paid off and on the day she as well as everyone else gave it everything.
Well done to all my clients a very very proud coach now time to rest and plan to smash more goals.
