Yeovil Town Community Sports Trust Yeovil Town Community Sports Trust is a registered charity that strives to make a positive difference for all through sport and learning.

Our aim is to do this by providing fun, safe and enjoyable activities for people of all ages, abilities and social backgrounds by using the power of sport as well as the profile of Yeovil Town Football Club to engage individuals and to have a positive impact on the lives of thousands of people each year. We recognise that sport is a highly motivational tool which can encourage, motivate and inspire individuals regardless of background in order to achieve their full potential. We also recognise the positive impact that our work currently has within our community but are continually looking to develop and expand our reach in order to make a difference to people’s lives. The Trust’s work is vast and includes providing routes into education, training and employment, steering young people away from crime and anti-social behaviour and engaging children and adults, regardless of ability, in physical activity using our four core themes; Sports Participation, Social Inclusion, Education and Health. Such a wholly inclusive programme reflects the desire of Yeovil Town Community Sports Trust to offer opportunities for all regardless of social background, ability, gender, age or ethnicity

We are delighted to welcome Hambridge Primary School as another valued school partner of the Community Sports Trust.

The continued growth of our school partnerships reflects the trust schools are placing in our team to deliver high-quality curriculum PE, physical activity and educational provision that makes a genuine difference to children.

As a community-focused, non-commercial organisation, our priority is impact. We exist to support schools, create opportunities and help children become more active, confident and inspired.

🏡⚽ A NEW HOME. A NEW ERA.

We are delighted to announce that Yeovil Recreation Centre will become the new home of our Elite Post-16 Football & Education Programme.

This is a hugely exciting step forward for the programme, providing our students with a dedicated environment where they can train, study, develop and perform every week.

Our new home gives the programme access to:

⚽ High-quality grass training & match pitches
📚 Dedicated classroom facilities
🎥 Analysis room for individual & team development
🏋️ Access to additional sporting facilities
☕ On-site café and excellent transport links
📍 A central Yeovil location

Most importantly, it gives our players a stable, professional home where we can continue building a programme centred around genuine development and realistic opportunities within senior football.

Our Post-16 programme combines an Elite Football Training Programme with a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma, giving students the opportunity to gain valuable qualifications and UCAS points alongside a demanding football programme.

With UEFA A Licence coaching, competitive fixtures, showcase opportunities, senior football pathways, individual development and outstanding education, we are determined to provide an environment where ambitious young players can take their next step.

🇳🇱 AJAX STADIUM TOUR 🔴⚪️

The perfect way to finish an unforgettable week in Holland! ⚽️

We had the incredible opportunity to visit the home of Ajax and experience one of the most iconic stadiums in European football.

A stadium steeped in history and a club that has produced, developed and been home to some of the greatest players the game has ever seen: Johan Cruyff, Virgil Van Dijk, Dennis Bergkamp, Zlatan Ibrahimović, Luis Suárez, Clarence Seedorf, Edwin van der Sar and many more. ⭐️

Walking around a stadium where so many legends have played was a special experience for our young players and gave them an insight into the history and traditions of a club recognised around the world.

Ajax are also renowned globally for their commitment to developing young players and providing a pathway from academy football into the first team environments, making it an especially relevant experience for our players on tour.

A fantastic experience, plenty of memories made and the perfect way to bring our Holland Tour 2026 to a close. 🇳🇱👏

An unforgettable experience for the players this summer! 💚

Our Holland Tour gave the players the opportunity to train, develop and experience football in a completely different environment. From high-quality sessions to learning about the game in a new footballing culture, every moment contributed to their growth both on and off the pitch.

The week was about far more than football itself. It was about development, independence, team bonding and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

These are the experiences we want to continue providing for players within our pathway, opportunities to travel, challenge themselves and experience football beyond the UK. 🌍⚽️

An amazing session last night with our younger group in 🇳🇱🇳🇱

Our players were put through a high-quality football session, with plenty of intensity, technical detail and competition throughout. The attitude and application from the whole group was outstanding. 👏

These tours are about so much more than just playing fixtures, they’re about learning, developing, experiencing different football environments and creating memories together.

What an incredible week at our Football Holiday Camp at Ansford! ⚽🔥

We’ve had a fantastic time delivering a packed schedule of activities, with something different happening every day, from skill challenges and small-sided games to fun competitions and team-building activities. The energy, effort, and smiles from all the players have been brilliant to see throughout the week!

It’s been especially rewarding to see how well our first holiday camps as an independent provider have gone. The support from families and the enthusiasm from the children has made it a huge success.

A massive shoutout to our coaching staff, who have been absolutely outstanding, delivering high-quality, engaging sessions while continuing to offer affordable, community-focused rates for all families.
Special thanks to Ansford School for partnering with us to deliver these special events 🙏🏼

We are incredibly proud to announce the promotion of Lewis Hunnisett to the role of Football Development Officer.

Lewis first joined us as a Community Sports Coach after going through our pathway as a footballer. Through his hard work, passion and commitment to developing opportunities for young people across our community, he has earned this well-deserved promotion.

In his new role, Lewis will lead the growth and development of some of our key football programmes, including:
⚽ Football Development Hubs
⚽ Soccer Schools & Holiday Camps
⚽ Mini Kickers (Coming soon)
⚽ Our Post-16 Football & Education Programme administration

At Yeovil Town Community Sports Trust, we are passionate about creating opportunities; not only for the thousands of participants we work with each year, but also for our own staff.
