🏏WEEKEND RESULTS🏏

It was a tough weekend for the club, with only one win between the 5 adult teams:

❌ 1s, 2s, Sunday XI and the women’s team suffered losses against Ilminster 1s, Cheddar 1s, Yeovil Royal Blasters Sunday XI, and Ilminster Women’s 2s respectively.

✅ 3s destroy Chard 4s by winning by 8 wickets in what was a very short game, with exceptional performances by everyone in the team.

A huge congratulations to Bradley Shorto on an outstanding performance for Yeovil CC 3rd XI against Chard 4th XI on Saturday! ❤️🤍🏏

Bradley, our U16s captain and a regular contributor across both the 2nd and 3rd XIs, produced a spell to remember, claiming an incredible 5-wicket haul, including a brilliant hat-trick, ending on sensational figures of 5/3 off 5.5 overs. 🎩🔥

It’s fantastic to see one of our young players leading from the front and making such a big impact in senior cricket. Performances like these are a testament to Bradley’s hard work, commitment, and development through the club.

Well done, Bradley – a day you’ll never forget and one the club is incredibly proud of! 👏❤️🤍

Tomorrow, Yeovil CC 2nd XI hit the road as they take on Long Sutton Cricket Club 1st XI in Round 2 of the Intermediate Knockout Cup.

After progressing through the opening round, the boys will be looking to keep the cup run alive against a strong Long Sutton side.
